One person was injured Saturday when a plane turned over as it was landing at Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose, a captain with the San Jose Fire Department said.
Fire crews and an ambulance responded at 8:44 p.m. to the airport at 2500 Cunningham Ave. after a report that a plane was down, Capt. Peter Caponio said.
The four-passenger single prop Cessna with four people on board was landing when a wheel went off the paved portion of the runway, Caponio said.
The plane flipped onto its roof and one person went to the hospital with minor injuries, he said.
