Suspects arrested in Oceanview murder

Homicide investigators have arrested two Oakland residents thought to be responsible for a shooting in San Francisco’s Oceanview district this October, according to police.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Broad Street at 8:07 a.m. Oct. 11, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Investigators determined that the shooting had occurred during a commercial burglary, and they were able to identify suspects, police said.

Then on Friday homicide investigators working with the Oakland Police Department conducted a joint surveillance operation and ultimately served a search warrant, according to police.

Justin Irvin, 36, and Angel Grayson, 27, were arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and burglary. They were booked into the San Francisco County Jail, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone with additional information to contact the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444.
