A 3.0-magnitude earthquake has struck near Danville and San Ramon Wednesday morning, the latest in a series of small quakes in the area today, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The most recent quake was reported at 8:14 a.m. and had a depth of 5.3 miles. It was centered near Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, just north of the city’s border with San Ramon, USGS officials said.
The temblor follows several other small quakes in the same area overnight, including a 2.6-magnitude quake at 3:22 a.m. and a 2.9 quake at 3:58 a.m., according to the USGS.
No property damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the quakes.
