Police have released photos taken from video surveillance of a possible suspect and truck involved in a hit-and-run that killed a man in San Jose Tuesday morning.
The collision with a pedestrian was reported at 7:04 a.m. near South White Road and Florence Avenue, located two blocks south of James Lick High School.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined a pickup truck was traveling north on South White Road when it struck the man. The truck and driver did not stop at the scene and remained at large as of this morning, police said.
The truck is described as a full-sized white Ford pickup that is raised, has tinted windows, a loud exhaust and black rims, according to police.
The suspect shown in one of the surveillance images appears to be a man wearing a white shirt, dark pants and a dark-colored hat.
