A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning when a semi truck hit him while he attempted to walk underneath one of its trailers, police said.

The 21-year-old man was crossing the road at Fremont and Howard streets around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when the truck struck him and dragged him down the street.

A truck with two trailers was passing by as the pedestrian crossed, and police said he tried to walk underneath its second trailer.
