An 11-month-old baby was flown to a hospital after falling onto hard pavement from a second story walkway Tuesday afternoon in Concord, according to police.
Around 4:10 p.m. police responded to a report of a small child who’d fallen down a flight of stairs in the 16000 block of Frisbie Court.
Investigators determined the baby had fallen from the second floor onto the pavement below.
The baby was conscious, and was transported to Children’s Hospital Oakland by helicopter, police said.
