Pedestrian killed by left-turning Audi identified

A female pedestrian killed Wednesday in a collision with a car in San Francisco’s Lower Nob Hill neighborhood has been identified as Landa Lee, according to the San Francisco medical examiner’s office.

Lee, 76, of San Francisco was crossing Pine Street shortly after 1 p.m. when an Audi SUV going north on Leavenworth Street turned left and hit her, police said.

Lee died at San Francisco General Hospital, according to police.

The 45-year-old driver of the Audi stopped after the collision and was not arrested, police said.
