The bodies of two men who were reported missing in the Valley Fire in Lake County were found Wednesday, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The remains are presumed to be those of Bruce Beven Burns and Leonard Neft, a former San Jose Mercury News reporter, based on the locations where they were found, sheriff’s Lt. Steve Brooks said.
Burns was reported missing on Tuesday and was found in Hidden Valley, while Neft was reported missing Monday and was found in the Anderson Springs area, Brooks said.
A positive identification of the men has not been made, Brooks said.
The body of a 72-year-old woman was found in her Anderson Springs home Sunday.
