A San Francisco Municipal Railway bus was reported on fire on southbound U.S. Highway 101 Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The bus fire was reported shortly after 7:15 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp in San Francisco, CHP officials said.
UPDATE 10:12 a.m. Burning Muni bus was out of service.The far right southbound lane of the highway is blocked as a result of the fire, according to the CHP.
Muni officials were not immediately available to provide more details about the incident.
