Man dead in overnight Antioch shooting

A man died in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Antioch, police said.

Officers responded at about 12:40 a.m. to a report of screams and gunshots in the front of a home in the 400 block of San Joaquin Avenue, according to police.

The officers found a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound and he died in front of the home, police said.

Another man died in Antioch Sunday evening in a shooting in the 1800 block of Cavallo Road.
