One person has died following a traffic accident in an unincorporated area of Contra Costa County Thursday morning.
The crash was reported around 3:12 a.m. in the 12300 block of Marsh Creek Road, according to California Highway Patrol.
At 4:10 a.m., authorities closed the road east of Clayton as they investigated the fatal accident.
As of 4:50 a.m., CHP had not provided an estimated time for when the road will reopen.
