Peeper pleads no contest to filming girls

A Sacramento man who recorded underage girls on his cellphone at a swim meet has pleaded no contest to a felony child pornography charge, according to the Solano County District Attorney’s Office.

Jason Ray Paner, 33, will be sentenced Oct. 30, Chief Deputy District Attorney Sharon Henry said. A felony burglary charge and a misdemeanor charge of annoying or molesting a child will be dismissed, Henry said.

Paner pleaded no contest in Solano County Superior Court Monday.

The incident happened March 7 in the female locker room at Solano Community College. A parent called the Solano County Sheriff’s Office to report her daughter saw a man in the locker room filming the girls, sheriff’s officials said.

The mother ran after the man, identified as Paner, while yelling for help from other parents. Deputies found several images of underage female swimmers on Paner’s phone, according to the sheriff’s office.
