Firefighters responded to a report of a small explosion in Sunnyvale Wednesday morning, according to the city’s Department of Public Safety.
The explosion occurred at a warehouse at 225 Humboldt Court just north of state Highway 237, public safety officials said.
Everyone inside the building was evacuated as a precaution, according to public safety officials.
A hazardous materials team conducted an investigation, determined there was no threat and allowed the building occupants back inside, public safety officials said.
An employee suffered minor hand injuries, according to public safety officials.
As of late this morning, firefighters were preparing to clear the scene, public safety officials said.
