A pedestrian was struck by a garbage truck Monday morning in San Francisco’s Marina District, a police spokesman said.
The collision was reported at 7:02 a.m. at the intersection of Lombard and Fillmore streets, police Officer Albie Esparza said.
The pedestrian was conscious and breathing following the collision and was taken to a hospital, Esparza said. He did not immediately have an update on the pedestrian’s condition.
San Francisco Municipal Railway service was briefly impacted as a result of the collision, Esparza said.
No other information about the case was immediately available this morning, he said.
