Bomb threat strikes Wrigley Field after Giants’ game

Investigators found no bomb today at Wrigley Field in Chicago where the San Francisco Giants played the Chicago Cubs, Chicago police said.

Officers received a telephone bomb threat at about 3:20 p.m. PDT, Chicago spokeswoman Officer Amina Greer said. Officers investigated the threat and found no bomb, Greer said.

Officers closed the investigation at about 5:20 p.m. PDT, she said.

The San Francisco Giants lost to the Cubs today by a score of 2-0, according to the Giants’ website.
