Fatal pedestrian collision closes north I-880

The California Highway Patrol Saturday morning reported a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on northbound Interstate Highway 880 in San Leandro.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert, and the northbound lanes of the highway were closed at Marina Boulevard.

The CHP reporting there was a pedestrian found in the roadway. The collision was first reported at 2:06 a.m.
