About 850 PG&E customers were affected by a service outage in San Francisco Monday night, according to utility officials.
The outage started at 7:26 p.m., and at that time there were 2,434 customers affected in portions of the SoMa, Inner Mission and Eureka Valley districts, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
Around 8:55 p.m. the number of customers affected had been reduced to 850, but Guidi said that so far there is no estimate for when service will be fully restored:
The cause of the outage has not yet been determined, but PG&E has multiple personnel on site “investigating as safely and quickly as possible.”
