The West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station was closed Wednesday morning following a death on the tracks, according to a BART spokeswoman.
The West Dublin/Pleasanton station was closed after a 7:15 a.m. report of a person under a train at the station, according to BART spokeswoman Denise Gonzalez.
Trains were single-tracking through the station without stopping Wednesday morning, causing major delays on the Dublin/Pleasanton line in both directions and 10- to 15-minute delays systemwide, Gonzalez said.
BART police have confirmed the person died, and officials are now waiting for the Alameda County coroner’s bureau to respond to the scene and complete the investigation before restoring service, Gonzalez said.
