The operation was conducted on May 28 and 29. During the sting, a minor would stand outside a liquor store asking patrons to purchase alcohol on the minor’s behalf while under the direct supervision of a peace officer, according to police.
None of the adults propositioned agreed to do so, however.
Furnishing alcohol to a minor comes with a minimum fine of $1000 and 24 hours of community service, according to police.
