Police seek suspect in Tenderloin shooting

San Francisco police are looking for a gunman who fled in an SUV after shooting a man in the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

Police received reports at 2:32 a.m. of a shooting in the 400 block of Eddy Street.

Police said when officers arrived, they found the 28-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

According to police, the victim had been walking when the suspect shot him.

The suspect then took off in a gold or tan-colored SUV.

Investigators are uncertain if the suspect fired shots while he was on foot or inside the SUV, police said.
