Officer struck by suspect’s vehicle

A Mountain View police officer was reportedly injured Wednesday night after the officer was struck by a suspect’s vehicle in a parking lot.

Police said the officer was struck while he was responding to a fraud investigation in the parking lot of 1040 Grant Road.

He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries that were not life threatening, police said.

The suspects in the incident were detained.

The incident was first reported around 9:30 p.m.

No other information on the incident was immediately available.
