A bicyclist suffered fatal injuries in a collision with a car in Danville Tuesday afternoon, town officials said.
The collision was reported at 4:37 p.m. near the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Tassajara Ranch Drive.
UPDATE 4:12 p.m. Killed Danville cyclist was school district employee.The 55-year-old bicyclist, a Danville resident, was injured and flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where he was later pronounced dead, according to town officials. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash and has fully cooperated with the investigation, according to police.
