Officers responded to a report of a large crowd in the 300 block of 13th Street around 9:20 p.m., Oakland police Officer J. Moore said.
Moore said a crowd of roughly 150 people was moving into traffic but said the event was not a demonstration:
“I’m not sure where they were coming from.”
As of around 10:30 p.m., Moore said he wasn’t sure if the crowd had dispersed and said officers were still on scene.
There were no injuries reported and Moore said he wasn’t sure if there was any property damage. No further information was immediately available.
