A man is being held without bail for allegedly shooting his adult son multiple times at their San Carlos home Wednesday afternoon, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said Thursday.
Alan Fisher, 66, was arrested Wednesday after police responded to reports of a shooting at his home in the 800 block of Crestview Drive, sheriff’s Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said.
Deputies found Fisher’s 33-year-old son suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was alive and conscious when he was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, Rosenblatt said. Fisher was questioned by deputies and claimed he had to defend himself from his son, but was uninjured.
He was arrested and booked into jail without bail on suspicion of attempted murder, Rosenblatt said. Fisher is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon, Rosenblatt said.
