Police are investigating an attempted kidnapping in Redwood City Monday evening, police said.
Police said the attempted kidnapping occurred at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Clinton Street and Lincoln Avenue.
A suspect tried to kidnap a woman as she was removing things from her vehicle, according to police.
The woman yelled and fought the suspect who then left the area in a dark-colored vehicle driven by another person, police said.
