A good Samaritan boater provided aid to a kayaker who fell into the water at an Oakley marina Sunday morning, a fire dispatcher said.
An employee from the East Bay Regional Park District called police around 10 a.m. to report a kayaker had fallen into the water at the Big Break Regional Shoreline. The kayaker was in the water and couldn’t get back inside the kayak, the dispatcher said.
A private boater pulled the kayaker to shore, where emergency personnel met them, the dispatcher said. There were no injuries reported, the dispatcher said.
