Oakland police arrested an auto theft suspect found sleeping in a stolen car early Monday morning, police said today.
A police officer found the stolen car parked in the 3000 block of Brook Street, between 30th Street and Broadway, at 12:42 a.m. Monday, police said.
When the officer approached the car, he found two people sleeping inside and detained them both. One of the people was arrested for possessing the stolen vehicle, police said.
