Man stabbed near Crocker Amazon park

An 18-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing at the edge of San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The incident was reported at roughly 12:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Geneva Avenue and Crocker Amazon Park. The victim was walking down the street when he was attacked by four white men of unknown age and description. He ran away and later realized he’d been stabbed, according to San Francisco Police spokeswoman Grace Gatpandan.

Daly City police contacted the victim after he was admitted to Kaiser Permanente’s South San Francisco Medical Center with life threatening injuries. He was later transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his wounds.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send texts to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message. Gatpandan said the suspects did not attempt to rob the victim. No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.
