UPDATE 10/11: Robbery suspects behind fatal hit-and-runAt 9:58 p.m., officers in the area of Post and Powell streets witnessed a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Police tried to pursue the vehicle involved in the collision, but the vehicle ended up eluding officers. Police said it is possible the vehicle possibly drive onto the Bay Bridge.
The pedestrian suffered injuries that were life threatening and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
