Former San Francisco Supervisor Aaron Peskin will announce his bid for the District 3 seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors Monday morning.
Peskin will make the announcement in front of the building where tenant advocates fought the eviction of the Lee family at Jackson and Larkin streets at 11 a.m.
Peskin represented District 3 voters in North Beach, Telegraph Hill and the Financial District from 2001 to 2009 after being elected in November 2000 and re-elected in 2004. Term limits precluded a Peskin run in 2008.
