Officers responded to the 4100 block of Foothill Boulevard at 11:05 p.m. to investigate a report of an armed carjacking at a taco truck stand, police said.
Police said responding officers received a description of the suspects and the suspects’ vehicle, including a license plate, from the victim and witnesses.
Later officers stopped a vehicle in the 7200 block of Holly Street matching the description of the one used in the carjacking, police said.
Police said the driver of the vehicle matched the description of one of the suspects in the carjacking. Police arrested the person on an outstanding warrant for car theft, police said.
Police said the victim’s vehicle has not been recovered.
