Police are responding to a shooting Thursday evening in the city’s Potrero Hill neighborhood.
The incident was reported at 4:28 p.m. at 25th and Wisconsin streets, according to Sgt. Michael Andraychak.
Five to six shots were heard, and after an unknown period of time two victims arrived at San Francisco General Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Andraychak.
Andraychak said:
“There was not an ambulance, but somehow they were taken to the hospital.”
He was unable to provide additional information about the victim’s wounds or current condition, however.
Andraychak added:
“There’s no suspect info at this time, so in this kind of case officers would show up at the hospital.”
Other officers are at the scene of the shooting looking for witnesses, evidence or surveillance video, according to Andraychak.
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency announced via Twitter at 4:56 p.m. that police activity near the scene of Thursdays shooting could result in delays for the 10, 19 and 48 bus lines.
