Security guard killed in San Jose identified

A man shot and killed in San Jose Saturday night was identified by police Monday as a security guard working at a business near the homicide scene.

Manuel Alvarez Zuniga, 34, of San Jose was found shot in the 300 block of North Capitol Avenue at 9:44 p.m., police said. He was taken to a hospital but died from his injuries a short time later.
