Visitacion Valley home invasion investigated

Police in San Francisco are investigating a home invasion robbery that took place Monday in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded at 8:50 p.m. to the unit block of Ervine Street, said police spokeswoman Sgt. Monica MacDonald.

Police said one suspect held two residents at gunpoint while four other suspects went through the home.

The victims were unharmed but the suspects stole a gun, MacDonald said.

Police said they are still investigating the robbery and is asking anyone with information about the case to call the San Francisco Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or 911.
