A fire set inside a bathroom of a high school in Petaluma on Friday is being investigated as arson, police said.

Police said Petaluma fire crews responded to a report of a fire inside a restroom in the “M” wing of Casa Grande High School, located at 333 Casa Grande Road.

When firefighters responded, police said, they discovered the fire, which started at a soap dispenser, was set deliberately and asked police to launch an arson investigation.

No one was injured and the fire was quickly extinguished, police said.
