Pedestrian injured in Tenderloin hit-and-run

A male pedestrian suffered a head injury when he was hit by the driver of a dark-colored sedan who fled the collision scene in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood Thursday night, police said.

The collision was reported shortly after 11:50 p.m. in the 400 Block of Leavenworth Street, according to police. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark-colored four-door sedan.

The driver did not remain at the scene and has not yet been identified, police said. The victim suffered head injuries that are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
