A report by the United States Geological Survey says a 4.4 magnitude earthquake has struck parts of Monterey County Monday morning.
The earthquake was located 16 miles east northeast of Greenfield, 17 miles north northeast of King City and 19 miles east of Soledad. According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of nine kilometers.
