Two people were shot in a store in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.
Gunfire was reported at 1:03 p.m. at Turk and Leavenworth streets, police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said. Officers arriving found two people suffering from gunshot wounds inside a store there.
They were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, Gatpandan said. The victims suffered injuries that were potentially life-threatening, fire officials said.
Investigators have not yet determined a motive for the shooting.
