One man is dead and another is in stable condition after two shootings in Oakland that occurred within minutes of each other Sunday, police said Monday morning.
Police believe the first incident took place at 5:27 p.m. In that incident a man was shot in the 3600 block of Webster Street, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital at about 5:45 p.m.
Police believe the second shooting took place at 5:30 p.m. In that incident a man was shot in the 1600 block of Church Street, police said. The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Police expect him to survive.
Police do not have any suspects in either shooting.
