Officers responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and bicyclist at Highland and Carneal roads around 9:45 a.m., CHP officials said.
UPDATE 12/29 Cyclist killed in crash identified as high school vice principal. [mappress mapid=”43″ align=”right” margin=”12″]The bicyclist was killed in the collision and the Contra Costa County coroner’s office has been called to the scene, according to the CHP.
One person suffered major injuries and another suffered minor injuries in the crash, CHP officials said.
