Pair arrested after fatal Thanksgiving shooting

San Francisco police Friday announced the arrests of two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting at the Potrero Hill public housing complex on Thanksgiving.

Myesha Carr, 32, and Marquez Harrison, 20, were arrested on suspicion of the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Daron Raynaldo at about 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the 700 block of Missouri Street, police said.

Investigators said a male suspect got out of a silver Acura TL and opened fire, striking Raynaldo multiple times while he stood in front of his home. He later succumbed to his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital. The suspect then got back into the passenger side of the Acura and fled.

Investigators eventually identified Carr and Harrison as the suspects in the case and learned from East Bay law enforcement agencies that the pair was also allegedly involved in multiple robberies and auto burglaries in the Pinole and Emeryville areas.

Carr and Harrison were eventually arrested early Tuesday morning at a motel in the 5000 block of Mission Street in San Francisco and were booked into jail on suspicion of killing Raynaldo, police said. The homicide remains under investigation.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call an anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
