Missing woman last seen at San Leandro Marina

San Leandro police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a mentally challenged woman missing since Friday night.

Yolanda Carroll, 53, was last seen near the restroom by the “F” dock at the San Leandro Marina around 10 p.m. when she walked away from a family member, police Lt. Randall Brandt said.

She is described as a black woman standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds with slightly gray dark hair, according to police.

Carroll was last seen wearing a purple shirt and jeans, police said.

Her family members said she has the mental capacity of a younger teenager and is not familiar with public transportation, according to Brandt.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call San Leandro police at (510) 577-2740.
