A 39-year-old man was reported shot in the wrist at 11:38 p.m. in the 900 block of Ellsworth Street, according to police.
He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The suspect fled the scene after shooting the victim with a handgun and remained at large as of this morning, police said.
No other information about the shooting was immediately available today.
