Bicyclist killed on I-80

The California Highway Patrol Monday morning reported a fatal crash involving a bicyclist on Interstate Highway 80 in Vacaville.

The crash was reported Sunday around 10:10 p.m. on westbound Interstate Highway 80 just east of the Pena Adobe Road off-ramp. Officers said it appears at least one vehicle struck a bicyclist on the highway.

A Sig-Alert was issued due to several lanes of the highway being blocked due to the crash. The CHP is reporting two lanes were closed as crews worked the scene.
