An experimental plane crashed in a Sonoma County vineyard Wednesday afternoon, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said.
The two-seat Kitfox IV propeller plane struck power lines as it crashed into a vineyard about six miles southeast of the Sonoma Skypark airport at about 2:15 p.m., FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said.
Two people aboard the aircraft were taken to a hospital. Gregor did not immediately know the extent of their injuries. The crash is under investigation.
