Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a cliff rescue around 7:55 p.m., the dispatcher said.
A person with a dog tried to rescue the animal that went over a cliff, according to the dispatcher. The person then became stuck on the cliff with the dog, he said.
They were rescued around 8:45 p.m. and did not suffer any injuries, according to the dispatcher.
The U.S. Park police also assisted in the rescue.
