A man shot and killed his wife after he said she attacked him in a Glen Ellen home Saturday evening, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 4200 block of Warm Springs Road shortly before 7 p.m., sheriff’s officials said.
The man, who was bedridden, said his wife attacked him with a knife and he shot her, according to sheriff’s officials.
The woman was found dead inside the home when deputies arrived, sheriff’s officials said.
Detectives from the sheriff’s office are investigating the death.
