A 31-year-old Hercules man is behind bars after allegedly beating his older brother with a stick last weekend.
Officers responded to a report of the two brothers fighting at a home in the 2000 block of Redwood Road around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
Police said the suspect, identified as Tedros Yohannes, had beaten his 36-year-old brother with a stick, inflicting injuries to his head, back and neck.
Yohannes was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and was taken to county jail in Martinez, where he was held on $30,000 bail.
