Two people were injured in a shooting in Fairfield Friday evening across the street from a hospital, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 8:46 p.m. when police received a call reporting multiple gunshots on the 1100 or 1200 block of Dana Drive, according to Sgt. Aaron Bertsch.
As officers responded to the area two male victims walked into NorthBay Medical Center, which is located across the street from the scene of the shooting, with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, Bertsch said.
Some possible suspect vehicles were spotted in the area but police do not have a description at this time and investigators are still out on the scene, Bertsch said.
