‘Suspicious’ deaths of couple on boat probed

Vallejo police are investigating the suspicious deaths of a couple in their 40s who were found on a boat Tuesday morning.
Police received a call from a woman who was concerned because she had not seen her loved one in several days, Lt. Sid DeJesus said.
The woman said her loved one lived on a boat with her husband who also was not responding to her phone calls, DeJesus said. Police arrived at 42 Harbor Way, Dock C to conduct a welfare check around 10:45 a.m.
They found the deceased couple with obvious signs of trauma and are calling the deaths suspicious.
The couple is not being identified until next of kin are notified and the nature and cause of the deaths are known, DeJesus said.
